South Coast United Mountain Bikers Club (SCUM) is a not for profit, 100% volunteer run, community mountain bike club based in Nowra on the NSW South Coast.  Formed in 2004, the club aims to foster the sport of mountain biking at both competitive and social levels.

Club members have built and maintain several cross-country and flow-cross mountain bike trails at three locations in the Currambene and Nowra State Forests, South Nowra and one in the Shoalhaven State Forest at Nowra Hill. All the trails are managed by SCUM under an occupancy permit with the NSW Forestry Corporation (FCNSW). SCUM and FCNSW acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands on which we meet and ride, the Jerrinja and Wandi Wandian people and pay respect to elders past, present, and those of the future. We recognise that it is a privledge to share these lands which we will continue to respect and nuture.

The club regularly hosts competitive events and social rides, runs a junior development program - the SCUM academy, and holds regular trail work & maintenance days. The Club also partners with external event organisers (eg. ‘Auscycling’ ‘Rocky Trail Entertainment’) to host mountain biking and other similar events at the SCUM trails. School groups and other community and sporting organisations also regularly use SCUM trails for events, training days or camps. Importantly, every day the SCUM trails are ridden by members of the community for enjoyment, health and well-being.
