Run the Rock

Hanging Rock, one of Australia’s most iconic locations, will again play host to the event on Saturday, 9 April 2011.
Said to be the best example of a volcanic plug or mamelon in the world, Hanging Rock boasts a picturesque rural landscape, with participants able to enjoy scenic views of Mt Macedon and surrounding areas.

But the Run to Rock is no picnic. Participants can choose to complete either a 5 run/walk or 10km run, which will incorporate bush trails, quiet country roads and a lap around the base of Hanging Rock (as part of the 10km course).
