Moehau Multisport Race

The Moehau can only be described as one of the most spectacular challenges on the Multisport calendar. Set in the rugged Northern Coromandel Peninsula it is one of New Zealand’s best kept secrets and only 2 1/2 hours from Auckland.
The race is named after the highest point on the Coromandel Peninsula, Mount Moehau, 2,935 feet above the oceans that surround it.
This 66km race comprises of 4 stages including 2 mountain bike stages (41km), a 14km sea kayak and an 11km trail run. The event is expected to take between 4 and 6 hours.
Stage 1 Sea Kayak 14km Long Bay to Waitete Bay;
2 Mountain Bike 22km Waitete Bay to Waikawau Bay;
3 Trail Run 12km Waikawau Bay to Kennedy Bay;
4 Mountain Bike 18km Kennedy Bay to Coromandel Town;
