Abel Tasman Coastal Classic

36km Trail Run from Awaroa to Marahau along the renowned Abel Tasman National Park.

The Abel Tasman Coastal Classic first began in 1994 and quickly became one of New Zealand's most popular Trail Runs. Initially the event was limited to 200 competitors, however, after the Department of Conservation (DOC) carried out impact reports this number was gradually increased to 300.

The reputation of the event, the location and its organisation continues to spread via word of mouth and very little promotion is needed for the event to continually sell out each year.
