MLT Moonshine Trail

The main idea behind this event is that it provides a unique ‘once a year’ access for competitors to Southland’s exceptional and distinctive Hokonui landscape, fostering grass roots sporting development and also enhancing tourism in the area.

There are categories suited to any age group from 15 years upwards for biking and running events.

Whether you run or cycle you'll be blown away by the Southlands iconic Hokonui Hills. Compete in the BNZ Moonlighters 35km or Cycle Surgery Dead Keen 40km Mountain Bike or the Allan White Shoe Clinic Bootleggers 15km or the Hillbillies 5km run/walk. Come take part in this once-a-year opportunity!
