It’s a new year and a lot of firsts for the “Night is but Young” Rogaine.
• New area, never before exposed to intrepid nocturnal souls.
• New setters, in fact they have only been on two rogaines themselves, obviously in the wrong place at the wrong time.
• New Hash site, perched on top of one of the rolling hills, with superb views of the surrounding farm land (this will, of course, be handy in the middle of the night)
• New teams of locals keen to take up the challenge of their first rogaine.
While there is a bit of bush scattered around the course, there isn’t much parrot bush as we don’t like it either! There is the odd electric fence but these pale into insignificance compared to the angry bulls . . . only joking, the bulls will be in the bull paddock inside an out-of-bounds area, so if you do run into bulls, you are in the wrong place.
