Super D 6Hr Enduro

A mountain bike Super D (downhill and uphill racing) event set in the Ben Lomond Forest above Queenstown, with Skyline Gondola access, 6hrs non stop tag team or individual.

The course covers 7km down and up. Smooth and flowing to start, a bit of a grunty climb from the half way base, some more flowing single track back to the half way point before dropping into the lower part of the mountain.

The course will be designed to give ‘downhill riders’ and cross-country riders’ equal chances at being first at the end of the day. At the end of the Hammy’s Trail, riders cross straight into the Skyline staff parking into the support village and pit lanes with the track taking every competitor past every ‘pit’ on each lap. Each lap is expected to take 20 mins ie the maximum number of laps will be about 12.
