The SRAM Singletrack Mind Series ... for anyone obsessed with singletrack!
The SRAM Singletrack Mind Series features six mountain bike endurance events of 7 or 8 hours duration. They take place at six different locations in NSW and ACT, each one renowned for its flowing singletrack and fun factor! Our aim is to provide a great day's racing for riders of all levels, on courses that are challenging, rewarding and most of all fun!
Each event will have solo and relay teams categories. Riders will complete laps of a course ranging from 8km to 10km in length. The category winners will have the highest number of laps completed at the event cut off time.
The venue for this round of the SRAM Singletrack Mind Series is Kinross State Forest, approximately 6km from Orange. Being an ancient volcanic region, there is an abundance of hills around Orange including the striking Mount Canobolas, which at 1,395m is the highest peak in a straight line between the Blue Mountains and Perth! However, the rolling hills are what makes for perfect cycling terrain. We're stoked to be partnering with the Central West Off Road Bicycle Club (CWORBC) who have been instrumental in developing a large network of trails close to Orange with the approval and assistance of Forests NSW.
