The 2012 Real Insurance NSW MTB XC series will be run over four events this year to determine who is NSW’s fastest XC racer.
Based on the Olympic and National formats of XC racing this is a genuine XC Series. However with a broad range of categories it is ideal for those who wish to test themselves against the state’s best or to simply try genuine XC racing in a fun, dynamic and exciting format.
XC racing is multi-lap style with categories reflecting those in the National series. Target race times for Elite racers are 1h:45m, lap numbers are determined by the proposed finish times.
Yellomundee is well known as a race venue with many an Enduro, 4hour, 8hour or a State XC round raced here before. Most riders will know this track well. With a limit of rider numbers allowed in the park for any event which is enforced by the National Parks authority, be sure to get your race entry early to avoid missing out.
