An after dark adventure for all levels of skill and fitness. Butterfly Creek is a popular daytime destination known for its accessibility and beauty. Nighttime Madness takes you on a unique night time adventure through native beech forest in this iconic area of the East Harbour Regional Park.
Nighttime Madness is one of the very few race challenges run the dark. Racing is undertaken in pairs and takes in some of the best bush in the region, as well as spectacular night time views of Wellington and the Harbour.
VASQUE Extreme Nighttime Madness ~ 15.4km with a 480m climb. Limited to 50 runners. Participants need to be experienced adventure runners.
SILVA Butterfly Creek Nightime Madness Classic ~ 7.7km for walkers and 9.75km for runners with a 295m climb. Achievable for all levels of fitness and experience.
SWAZI Young and the Restless Challenge ~ 7.7km with a 295m climb. Designed for an adult and youth pair or young people 11 -15 years. Adults are 18+
