At the other end of the spectrum, the inaugural Esperance Adventure Race will be Boundless' longest and furthest-away race yet! Don't let that put you off, it is the perfect excuse to plan a weekend away exploring some of Western Australia's most pristine coastal landscape.
Entries are now open for the race itself which will involve about eight hours of paddling, running, mountain biking and basic navigation. Starting and finishing near the town of Esperance, you will explore pure white beaches, granite headlands, sand dunes, lakes, ocean, and even some urban areas. This will be race for pairs, where both competitors stay together for the whole event. Inflatable two person canoes are provided, which will equalise the field and remove the hassle of transporting skis from Perth.
The whole field will be back before dark, in time to clean up, rest and then compare war stories with the other teams over dinner at the Esperance yacht club, overlooking some great views.
