Once again the Thunder Point 180 will be held in January from the Trotting Track Clubrooms in Warrnambool. This enduro style race through the tight coastal scrub single track is planned to be bigger and better than last year.
Held for the first time in January 2012, this race in Warrnambool proved popular with local riders and tourists in town for their summer holiday.
Instead of a Friday night, the event will be held for the first time on the Saturday afternoon and will be followed by a family friendly social night at the Trotting Clubrooms.
The revamped circuit of about 4km this year will once again take in a lap of the trotting track and each lap will see riders passing the clubrooms 3 times to give spectators a birdseye view of the riders on each lap. The tight and technical track has had a heap of work done on it over the last 12 months - sure to impress and keep you on your toes.
