These offroad trail run challenges are based at one of New Zealand's most spectacular locations - Lake Tikitapu (Blue Lake) in Rotorua, which arguable has some of the best trail running in New Zealand surrounding it.
With a choice of three distances there is something for all abilities...from the recreational walker to the competitive runner. We are looking to cater to everyone, all you need is a positive attitude to get outdoors and challenge yourself.
The Crown event though must be the 17km Off Road Adventure Run, after running around and between Lakes and through the forest of Whakarewarewa, make you way through the bush, off the beaten path through native forest born from the destruction of the 1886 Tarawera eruption, if adventure is calling to you heart and soul, tick the box for this event you will regret it.
Quite possibly the best Off-Road Adventure Run in New Zealand, designed by one of NZ best orienteers Mark McKenna, running through native New Zealand flora it is not to be miss
