Finally, back in NSW, there's yet another spring chicken of a new run in the Wingello Trail Classic. This one sticks to the mid-range distances with a 25km and a 6km, with both offering prize money (is this the start of something?). Best bit is that proceeds from your paying to go get dirty will go towards the Wingello Rural Fire Brigade.
The 25km is a combination of firetrails and single tracks through beautiful pine forests and native forests, whilst the 6km is dirt road and firetrails though pine forests.
Organisers have told us that there will be no time limits or cut-offs, meaning runners and walkers of all abilities will be welcome to compete without having to worry about sweepers booting them off the course.
