This event is an awesome trail running and walking experience, through private land – open just this day of the year for you!
On Sunday 7th July, choose from a 5km, a 10km or an off-road half marathon (21km) and run or walk the North and East side of Mount Tauhara, Taupo. The event is a competition with accurate time keeping and results, however participation is the focus. Terrain will include farm land and pine forest. Track surface includes grass farm paddocks, farm tracks, 4WD roads and forestry single track – not to mention the stunning views back to Tuapo. This is the first of the 63.3 series of three Taupo Half Marathons in 3 months.
