Adventure in the Bay is on again, after great success in 2011 and 2012.
The event starts and finishes at Jacobs Well.
The event is in a Rogaine (navigation) style on water.
In teams of 3 or 4 you will be given a map at registration on the morning of the event 1 hour prior to the start time. Your team will then have until the start time to plan their strategy to visit as many markers as possible and gain maximum points and return to the finish line before the finish time of 4pm. You are able cover as much or as little distance as you like.
The markers will be placed throughout the bay and will be worth different points as shown on the map. Along with the map, maker latitudes and longitudes you will also be given a marker description and clue card. This will give the finer details of each marker so that you are able to locate them. (They are not all close to the water and not always on land)
There will be a different name on each of the markers that you are to record as proof of your visit.
