Looking for that next challenge? Something like you’ve never seen before?
The pound, pedal and paddle your way from the mountains to the sea. Traverse a massive 270.5km over 3 days charging through terrain as varied as you’ll see anywhere, starting on the alpine slopes of Mt Ruapehu, winding up and down trails hidden in untouched native forests, streaming down the unique Whanganui waterway to finally reach the beautifully enchanting town of Whanganui at the mouth of the river. It’s been done before but it’s still a thriller! The race was forged out in 1987 by a hardy bunch and it gathered some real pace in the mid-90’s before it took a break. But now it’s back with some new twists, ready to challenge a whole new generation of mad multisporters. Be the first to tackle the new mighty M2C in 2014.

The race utilises cycle-trails, encompasses two national parks, offers challenging terrain on a mostly off-road course with accommodation and facilities available at all stage ends.
