The 7th Vibram Tarawera Ultramarathon will be on 7 February 2015. The event is an adventure, an endurance event, a 100km-long scenic buffet. The Vibram Tarawera Ultra is a 100, 85 or 60km trail ultra. distance run from Rotorua to Kawerau, New Zealand. Along way you'll pass through exotic forestry, native bush, lakes, waterfalls and follow a beautiful river. Most of the run is on single track trails or forestry roads. You can compete as a solo athlete or in a relay team. There will be buffet aid stations, drop bags, pacers, spot prizes and free hotpools. You'll get to share the trails with a large international field of athletes. Entries open on 1 June at 11am NZ time and are limited to 1000 entries. The Vibram Tarawera Ultramarathon is part of the Ultra-Trail World Tour.
