Race: Alexandrina Council Paddlefest - a 2 day Paddlesports event.
Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September 2014- 6kms and 10kms Race#3/4
We are excited to welcome all paddlers to our first Alexandrina Council Paddlefest, part of the Natural Gas South Australian Ocean Paddling Series.
A 2 day paddle festival event in Horseshoe Bay and Victor Harbor SA, featuring a Long Distance Ocean Surf Ski Race and a Stand Up Paddle Board Racing for competitors and families.
Course Brief:
Saturday 13 September 2014
Course 1: Day 1 : a 6km circuit course of the Horseshoe Bay Port Elliot - starting at 2.30pm. Paddlers follow a circuit course around marker bouys. Race start is on Horseshoe Bay Beach and race finish is between the finishing markers a short run up the beach.
Race 2 - start is 4.00pm is a relay format BOP where paddlers use inflatable SUP and race in relays teams to progress to a 2 team final.

Race start 10.00am -
Course is a downwind race of 10km, either starting at Victor Harbor Yacht Squadron Beach and or a "Bay Runner Course" of significant landmarks in Horseshoe Bay depending on conditions. All paddlers who register will be notified.
