Lactic Turkey Events has a series of rogaine/navigational events in the next few months.
ORAKEI ROGAINE – 24th August 2014
LAINGHOLM LITTLE MUDDY CREEK ROGAINE – 27th September 2014 (fundraiser for a baby Lactic Turkey to go on a school trip to Japan – Zara Collins will be doing a lot of the work for this event)
KAREKARE ROGAINE – 1 November 2014 (fundraiser for the Lone Kauri Community School)
Teams of 2 to 5 compete in a 3 hour or 90min event, which includes a mix of running or walking (you choose the pace!), navigation and mystery activities.Teams will navigate to as many checkpoints as they can, collecting points for each checkpoint visited. To earn extra points teams can complete mystery activities which will require brains, brawn, teamwork, strategy or a combination of all!
