Experience and paddle the open water conditions on the Gippsland Lakes, in Eastern Victoria.
View the spectacular man made entrance that allows the lakes to run into Bass Strait,from Australia largest inland water ways. Start at Paynesville or Metung and finish at the iconic footbridge which crosses over the front lake at Lakes Entrance.
Start at Paynesville, 27km course for the elite paddler or Metung,13km course for the recreational paddler to finish at the Iconic Lakes Entrance Footbridge. It is also possible we may have a 3rd leg. Sale to Lakes Entrance 100km

The 2015 Challenge has been expanded to include surf boats and Hobie Kayaks into the 13km Metung leg, from Metung to Lakes Entrance. Other craft eligible for entry include; surf skis, ocean racing skis, sea kayaks, sit on-top kayaks, out-rigger canoes, stand up paddle boards (SUP’s), prone paddle boards and SLSA racing boards.
