LAKE HAYES TRIATHLON
New Zealand’s original triathlon. The Lake Hayes Triathlon is New Zealand’s oldest surviving triathlon, first held in 1983. This event is situated in and around the beautiful and iconic Lake Hayes near Queenstown.

5KM TRAIL RUN: Off-road out and back run from the Showground along the walking track beside Lake Hayes towards Arrowtown - FINISHING AT THE LAKE HAYES SHOWGROUND
10KM TRAIL RUN: Off road run starting and finishing at the Lake Hayes showground's along the walking track beside Lake Hayes incorporating ONE full anti clockwise laps of Lake Hayes - with a short dog leg extension at the Queenstown end of the lake - FINISHING AT THE SHOWGROUNDS
