RACE BIO:
A women’s only trail running event in a truly ‘remarkable’ location!
The Remarkables Park Queenstown Fun Run takes place on some of the most scenic trails that meander their way the exclusive Remarkables Park on the edge of Queenstown enjoying magnificent views of the Remarkables Mountain Range and Kawarau River.
With the event taking place two weeks before Christmas – this is a great opportunity to challenge your energies in to training for a goal before the festive season kicks off, whilst also a great opportunity to pick up those last minute Christmas shopping bargains at all the fantastic shops in the Remarkables Park town centre.
The multi lap trail runs will provide a great opportunity for family members, spectators and sponsors to cheer on and enjoy the festivities whilst runners and walkers finish and pass by the multi lap checkpoint located close to the start / finish area.
THE COURSES:
The 5km, 10km and 15km Trail Runs take place on non-technical 5km laps (suitable for push chairs and wheelchairs) starting and finishing in the heart of the Remarkables Park Town Centre. Runners and walkers will follow a formed track for the duration of the race enjoying fantastic views of the countryside whilst hearing the energising beats from the finish line echoing amongst the mountains!
