The Astute Capital Management Winter Series of time trials is an 4 race open ocean series where your best 3 results count towards your overall position at the end of the series. This series is open to all paddlers not just members of CWA clubs.
Race fees are free to enter !. So come on down to the events and see if ocean paddling is for you, we have water safety at all events and prizes post event, nothing fancy, bragging rights are the main thing here. You can enter the whole series or just individual races .
Each race of the series has a different sponsor, Indian Ocean Paddlers would like to thank our new main sponsor, Astute Capital Management, and all the individual race sponsors .
Unless noted otherwise in the Series Race Information table :
- Race day registration is from 7.00 am, at Sorrento Beach
- Race briefing will be at 7:25 am .
- Race start at 7:30 am ( first wave ).
- Race finishes start and finish in front of the Surf Club at Sorrento Beach.
- The actual course will depend on conditions on the day, but the most likely scenario is an out and back run to Trigg Island ( approx 11 km )
