The Perth Trail Series started in 2012 as a summer race series, consisting of 5 short but challenging trail races in the hills surrounding Perth, Western Australia. Events ranged from 9 to 19 kms, with all five races having a choice of two distances. We created a series to challenge both new and experienced trail runners. A points competition comprises part of the series.

The 2016 Summer Series dates are 17 & 31 January, 21 February, 6 & 20 March! Entries to open in November!

Swissmurdie long course: 17.3 km
Swissmurdie short course: 10.3 km

Welcome to the Perth Alps, for our race finale! The roo's might not be wearing cow bells, but we'll do our best to give you the WA version of a Swiss alpine race. So, if you hear someone yelling, "Hop hop hop!" it isn't a strange reference to kangaroo behaviour, but is rather the Swiss cheer for "Go!" similar to "Allez allez!" heard in France and "Bravo!" heard in Italy.

The last race of the series gives you one more opportunity for scenic views. This course lets you enjoy many single track sections, interspersed with some wide tracks to allow easy passing opportunities.
