So you like the idea of getting a little dirty! The Dirty Tri will do that. This Off-road Triathlon has something for everyone. 1km Swim – 30km Mountain Bike Ride – 10km Trail Run. Whether you like to do it solo, or organise a team, this event will test your limits. But you’ll walk away with a real sense of satisfaction.

The Off-road Triathlon is recognised as the “new evolution” in the sport. So why don’t you consider giving this one a go!

Swim Leg

This swim course is similar to the road version. Competitors will see themselves plunging into the beautiful Lake Keepit for the 1km swim leg. But expect to get a little dirty leaving the lake side. There is no “Red Carpet” here! Expect it to get muddy and a little boggy while you leave the water. The 1km swim leg will be 2 x 500m loops.

Mountain Bike Course

This little 30km track will test your skills, strength and stamina. If you have ridden the Keepit Real 100 30km track, well you know what you’re in for. This is one 30km loop with fire trails, dam wall crossings, single track and some testing climbs and descents.

This track is manageable for all levels of riders. There are technical sections around the course, but these are well marked with caution signs. Remember, you don’t get penalised if you have to dismount your bike due to the track being technical. It requires a combination of skill, speed, strength and strategy.

Trail Run

This 10km trail run is where the Dirty Tri really shines. The trail will be 2 x 5km loops through some amazing single track with some picturesque views of the Lake Keepit landscape. Typically the trail run will weave its way through pine forest, including single track, rocky trails, steep ascents & descents, creek crossings and parts of the course have no track at all! Just arrows. This means all competitors must stay really focused and don’t relax the mind for a minute. If something is there to trip you up, it will! Oh yeah, expect to get a little dirty.
