Following on from last years successful Moa Hunt Adventure Race, Barry and Graeme are putting together this years event.
The location of the event will remain secret until the week before it is run, but we can confirm it is within 30km of Whangarei CBD
Family friendly - fun for adults and children.
The Event
3 and 6 hour races, involving trekking/running, MTB and more.
3 hour trek/run option also available.
Designed so anybody can participate, from walkers to elite levels.
This years event will be run on a traditional adventure race plan, where the controls (treasure) have to be found in a set order. There will be cut off times to ensure all teams finish in the same timeframe. There will be a BBQ at the finish line, giving participants the chance to recount their adventure and question the organisers on what level were they thinking.
