The Bare Creek Trail Run is a great community event for runners and families alike. A 6km family run/walk and a 10km run for more experienced runners. Entry is open to anyone aged 5 and up. It is a great way to experience the stunning Garigal National Park in St Ives.
New for 2016 is the St Ives Village 2km Dash for young ones to experience a short section of the Cascades trail and return. This can be a walk or run. This events is ideal for families with children of infants age or under. Whilst there are no prizes in the 2km Dash it provides a wonderful opportunity to introduce children to the excitement and fun of participating in such an event. An accompanying parent can run for free in the Dash. Also for adults to be able to participate in the 6km or the 10km events the 2km dash is run after these events are finished.
