The Bush'n Bay Race Series is an outdoor multi-discipline sporting event that will test your strength, endurance and mental toughness around stunning and scenic courses throughout NSW.
The courses may consist of 20-30km of mountain biking, 6-12km of trail running, 2-5km of kayaking, and 1km of swimming. There may be multiple legs of each discipline, which add up to the distances quoted.
The courses will take you over various types of terrain including fire trails, gravel roads, beaches, bush trails, up and down hills, and shallow water crossings. The courses can be tackled as a team of 2 or individually.
There are 2 types of races that you can take part in:
The Enduro Race is for the more experienced participants that want to challenge themselves, and may have taken part in other events of similar distance and type. This course is longer (40-50km, approx. 2.5 - 4.5hrs to complete), and typically has more stages than the Classic Race.
The Classic Race is designed for the "weekend-warriors" in mind, and the first-timers taking part in an Adventure Racing. This course is still challenging (24km, approx. 1.5 - 2.5hrs to complete).
