Round 7 of the 2010 Mountain Bike Orienteering “Rider of The Year” series.
This event will be held in the Tewantin State Forest, approx 1.5 hours north of Brisbane. New map and never used before forest for mountain bike orienteering.
Last ROY event before the Queensland Mountain Bike Champs on Sept 4th & 5th – great opportunity to hone up on your navigation skills.
There will be a new “Ringtail Creek” map of the forest which contains a mixture of pine and native forest with some rough open areas. There is lots of fast riding over fairly flat terrain with some hills on the longer courses.
