THE WORLD'S LEADING OBSTACLE RACE SERIES is coming to Townsville, QLD!
Escape winter and head up to Townsville this June for the Reebok Spartan Race! With temperatures averaging mid-20's, what better opportunity to compete in a Spartan Race and then pack your holiday in tropical North Queensland, with Townsville's bustling town centre and the enchanting and rugged Magnetic Island, just a short 20 minute ferry across the waters of Cleveland Bay.
This event is going to be a massive festival, jam packed with activities Thursday through to Saturday, with the major races running on the Saturday. Stay tuned for more details on the crazy schedule, which includes a street party and other festivities!
The course - just 15 minutes from Townsville centre - is set on a beautiful, large property, with rambling creeks and native bushland.
You can choose between the:
7Km Sprint race (great for first time Spartan racers),
20Km Beast race (a true test of endurance, perseverance and mental toughness),
42Km Ultra Beast (two laps of the Beast for the brave), and
4Hr Hurricane Heat on the Friday night 7PM to 11PM.
