Here’s your chance to enjoy a weekend of riding without any long laborious hours on the bike! Competitors take part in three 20km races hosted across two days, with the winners being determined by the best cumulative time across all three races.
Races will take place on Saturday Morning, Midday Saturday and Sunday morning, and to keep riders on their toes, each race will be run in a different direction on the course. Race 1: clockwise | Race 2: anti-clockwise | Race 3: clockwise
With camping on site you can bring your friends and family and make a weekend of it. Sunday also includes Junior & Kids Races.
The Back 2 Back is part of the MoreTon Bay MTB Series and hosted at Murrenbong Scout Camp just 40 minutes north of Brisbane.
About the MoreTon Bay MTB Series
Hosted in the spectacular Moreton Bay Region, this three race series is set to explode on the mountain bike stage in South East Queensland in 2017.
The series sees the revival of some old favourites including the LunarC 8hr and the introduction of some new events including a weekend stage race for all comers. Based at some of the best mountain bike locations in the Moreton Bay Region, the series is set to challenge elite riders, while also offering thrilling events and courses for our weekend warriors. There’s even some all-new kids’ events as well.
Points accumulate across the series with a MoreTon Bay MTB Elite Male & Female series champion and age group champions crowned at the finish of the season.
