The Sky Runner Queenstown is an off road running event held in early February each year in spectacular Queenstown, New Zealand – the adventure capital of the world!
The event offers challenges for all abilities including a Mountain Skyline Run, Adventure Run, Wilderness Trail Run and an Explorer Trail Run. Something for everyone!
All events enjoy magnificent landscapes and breath-taking scenery and although you might feel you’re in middle earth you are only a stone throw away from downtown Queenstown – Runners and walkers follow trails that meander via beautiful Beech, Pine and Douglas Fir forests, refreshing Waterfalls, Rivers and Streams, stunning Ridge Lines and Cliff tops and amazing single tracks offering sensational 360 Panoramic Mountain and Lake Views…
Queenstown – known as the adventure capital of the world is nestled amongst majestic mountain ranges alongside Lake Wakatipu only 6km from the Queenstown International Airport and the town itself is only a short 800m walk from the Skyline Queenstown Gondola. A great opportunity to enjoy a challenging yet fun event followed by an abundance of post-race adventure activities on the doorstep.
