Early Entry for Anglesea Adventurethon finishes Tonight

Early Entry to the Adventurethon Anglesea event finish tonight at 9 pm Eastern standard time.

The Anglesea event now it its second year is part of the National Adventurethon series of multisport races that take place in some scenic locations with some Adrenaline pumping Courses.

The Anglesea Adventurethon course is really best known for its awesome network of mountain bike trails which are weaves together the best singletrack in the area with the help of the regions best athletes and trail advocates to show off a flowy and enjoyable ride for the participants.

“The Mountain bike leg is great in that people with technical skill have plenty of options to make the course harder and have fun on the features BUT the less experienced riders can still get through the course without fearing for their lives.” Says course director Joel Savage

“Don’t get me wrong this is No road ride, you do need to skill up to hit the ride at full race pace, its just possible that people who have never done MTB can still get through the day with a few basic skills if they practice now.” reiterates Savage

The main Features on the MTB trail that you can prepare for:
•Tight corners / Switchbacks
•Ramps (that can be either rolled over easily or jumped if you want to get the full experience)
•Log roll overs (various sizes practice with small branches first)

The Course is fun and certainly rewards skills with only a few small climbs which are all rewarded with fun and winding descents…well worth any triathlete upskilling for a few rides with a more experienced friend so they can make the most of their fitness.

Its not all about the Bike though, with a great paddle option available for the experienced paddlers which uses the great coastal areas, there is also a middle distance more protected paddle and an enticer paddle with the 5 options / events over the 2 days.
