Macpac to Sponsor the Rogue12 Adventuregaine
Team Rogue Adventure have been very fortunate to have the support of New Zealand outdoor equipment and clothing company Macpac heading to the Godzone Expedition Race in Queenstown. I’m now pleased to announce that this relationship has been extended by Macpac to the Rogue12 Adventuregaine, with Macpac providing a number of category winning and random spot prizes for the event! Having raced for 8 days at the recent Adventure Racing World Championships in Tasmania using the full gamut of Macpac clothing and equipment, I was particularly impressed with the quality and durability of their gear. Particular standouts included their Amp Race 40 pack, which was super comfortable, functional, and relatively light – the Amp Race 25 would be the perfect pack for Adventure Races 12-48 hr in length. Also, their Traverse eVent Jacket is hands down the best jacket I’ve ever worn. It stood up to the conditions dished out by the Tasmanian wilderness without fault – warm and dry to the point that I didn’t need to layer up with my mandatory fleece once during the race.
