XTERRA Heads to Thailand

On November 25th, XTERRA will land in Thailand for the XTERRA Nan Trail Run in Amphoe Song Khwae, Thailand. The event is part of the XTERRA Trail Run World Tour, which includes off-road trail runs in exotic locations such as New Zealand, Brazil, Denmark, Costa Rica, Sweden, and Spain. At the end of the year, runners from all over the world will unite on the beautiful and majestic island of Oahu for the ultimate trail run – the XTERRA Trail Run World Championship in December.

The XTERRA Nan Trail Run will host a medley of races including a 3k fun run and 13.5k, 26.5k, 51.5k, and 78k trail runs. The first-place male and female finishers in the 78k and 51.5k races and the top three male and female finishers in the 26.5k race will receive complimentary entires into the XTERRA Trail Run World Championship. The top three male and female finishers in all races except for the 3k will receive prize money.

Amphoe Song Khwae is located in the Nan province in northeast Thailand, near Laos. It is a beautiful area full of hills and waterfalls with a climate much like Hawaii’s.

XTERRA Nan is part of the Thailand Trail Series, which includes four trail runs. XTERRA Nan is the final race in the 2017 series and the only race to include the ultra distance of 78k.
