New FKT on Larapinta Trail set by locals
Two Alice Springs locals, Rohan Rowling and Simon Duke, have successfully set a new record for running the entire 231kms of the Larapinta Trail’s 12 sections in an ‘unsupported accompanied’ fastest known time attempt. It took Rohan and Simon 58hrs and 48 minutes to cover the full distance, culminating at the Telegraph Station trailhead on Sunday 29 April at 4:48pm, greeted by friends and family.
