Reigning Tre-X Cross Triathlon Champion Connie Silvestri and Male Open Series Championship Leader Brayden Tucker to contend the Australian Cross Triathlon Championships
Snowy Mountains 9th/10th March, 2013Along with a swag of Queensland competitors who will be heading south in 2 weeks to contend the Australian Cross Triathlon Championships will be Connie Silvestri & Brayden Tucker.
Connie will definitely be a force to be reconned with in the Female Open Category. Currently Connie holds the following titles:
- NSW, Victorian and Qld Dirt Mistress Champion.
- She has also claimed the title as the first contender male or female to be named as Australian Dirt Mistress.
- She is the reigning Series Open Champion in the national Tre- X Cross Triathlon Series and has won all 3 lead in races to the Australain Champs.
Connie Silvestri is a true Off-Road Champion and she is going to be a tough competitor to beat on the day.
Brayden Tucker re-joined the Cross Triathlon scene in 2013 and very quickly stamped his dominance on the Male Open event, with two second places and then at the Qld Back 2 Back, after 2 days of racing, claimed the top podium which had previously eluded him. He will be out to take the win at the Australian Champs and based on current form is right on track to do so.
