RACE DESCRIPTION

The Urban Rogue is set to return in 2023, now in its eleventh year: a 3 hour metrogaine in the heart of the Brisbane CBD! Come experience the city Friday night lights, where you and up to four other team mates will navigate to collect as many check points as possible in a 3 hour time limit. Set at a time to capitalise on the cooler summer evening temperatures, this course is achievable by all levels of athlete. Whether you’re out for a casual stroll with the family or one of the city’s elite runners, you chose as much or as little of the course that you want to do. Only basic navigational skills are required.

HQ VENUE **Note Change

Due to the late notification of a major event at Suncorp Stadium, the PCYC venue in Milton is no longer available for the 2023 Urban Rogue.  The event will shift HQ to where the race first began on Gilchrist Avenue, Herston.  There are public toilets nearby and ample metered on-street parking.  There is limited shelter and water, and no power, so teams are advised to plan accordingly, particularly if it looks like the weather might be wet.  Post-event catering will consist of pizza and drinks.  Herston Bus Station is the closest accessible public transport and Fortitude Valley is the closest train station.  The race will return to the PCY in 2024.
