A rewarding challenge for the well prepared, multisport athlete, the Grin n Bear It course will prove testing, tough and truly wild – but incredibly scenic and satisfying, to anyone chasing an adventurous achievement.

Grin n Bear It Challenge participants will experience a classic four legged multisport event;
Open water 2km swim,
Out and back 12km lake paddle,
64km mountainous MTB Ride,
12km approx. trail run – as the final sting in the tail, of a magnificent multisport course.

The 2 km swim in Torpedo Bay is followed by a 12 km paddle across Barrabadeen Bay into Lake Tinaroo. A gruelling, but spectacularly scenic 64 km MTB ride leading thru the most spectacular Far North Queensland, Wet Tropics region of Danbulla State Forest to the peak of Mt Edith follows and the race finishes with the Lake Tinaroo 12 km shore and forest trail run.

Event begins at 7:30am at Camp Barabadeen on Lake Tinaroo, North Queensland (100 km form Cairns and 20km from Atherton).
Solo, Pairs and Team categories. Registrations have now opened

Participants can camp on site (Camp Barabadeen details on Grin n Bear IT website)
