The Crater Rim Ultra is back! After two years of Covid disruption, New Zealand's premier offroad running event on October 16 is extending a special welcome this year to entrants from Australia.
It offers races for all abilities over 83km, 53km, 30km, 22km and 10km on the spectacular Port Hills in Christchurch.
The 83km race is an exciting new addition this year. Entrants in the popular 53km race will travel to the start line by launch over the beautiful Lyttelton Harbour.
The event doubles as the New Zealand off-road championships, so some elite competition is expected.
