We are excited to announce a new style ESCAPE Marathon featuring the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, Stock routes and forestry dirt roads. Set in the beautiful South Burnett Regional area of Blackbutt and Yarraman. These timbertowns are steeped in history and picturesque scenery.
You'll get to explore the newly constructed rail/trail network and ride along the old rail networks seeing all the area has to offer, and onto historic stock routes and Benarkin State foresty dirt roads & trails.
The Timbertowns ESCAPE Marathon is part of the "Bloomin Beautiful Blackbutt Festival" so there will be plenty to do for your friends and family while you are out there on course and when you get back to come and enjoy the festivities.
Sunday is race day but why not come up on Saturday and enjoy some of the Festivals activities and register early for the race and avoid the early morning rush on Sunday.
