Event details:
Explore some of the toughest and most beautiful regions of Australia and ride your mountain bike with cyclists from all over the world, camping on cattle stations and in historic mining villages and even a coffee plantation! Possibility to stay in cabins or motels on most nights. The legendary Crocodile Trophy (UCI S2 category) is known as the most iconic and oldest Mountain Bike (MTB) stage race in the world.

It has been organised by ex-pro cyclist and Tour de France finisher, Gerhard Schoenbacher and his Australian company World Wide Sports Agency Pty Ltd. For the past few years, Rocky Trail Entertainment's Juliane Wisata has been acting as his Marketing Manager and Press Officer in Australia and NZ, while the organiser is overseas.

For 2018 the organisers have just announced a brand-new stage plan - for eight days you will ride on awesome single trails, through river crossings and across ancient trails on wide plains. You'll still get a taste of the iconic Outback Highways in Far North Queensland as you duck in and out of rainforests and bushland, before finishing on Four Mile Beach in Port Douglas!
