In it's Eighth year for 2020, WH@N will take place on May 23rd and is a genuine fun for all event. Low key and lots of laughs, just put on your shoes and headlamp and take your pick from 10 km, 16.5 km, 25 km or 50 km events.?
Based at the car park at the foot of Wild Horse Mountain, WH@N is run along the old (traditional?) Glasshouse 100 Eastern Section. The surface is a mix of pine forest trail, grass, gravel, sand, compact dirt and two and two crossings of Tibrogargan Creek (which is typically dry). If you're training for Kokoda, Trail Walker or indeed any event that's going to require the use of night gear, this is a must. On the other hand, you could just come along for the fun.
