For 25 years the Crocodile Trophy has challenged racers from all over the World to compete in an ultra-endurance mountain bike race, which offers an incredibly authentic nine-day Australian adventure through Tropical North Queensland's majestic landscapes.

In consideration of the global COVID-19 development and strict entry rules into Australia, the 26th Edition in 2020 was postponed to 15-23 October 2021.

The 2021 Croc Trophy will once again offer the biggest variety of mountain bike trails and racing in a multi-national peloton with cyclists from all over the World and Australia. The race will start with a prologue in Cairns and in total will take its participants for nine days from the jungle in Cairns to the Atherton Tablelands with bush single tracks into the unique Australian Outback.

It will showcase the beautiful local landscapes covering 700 km and 13,000vm - experience the tranquility and adventure of an authentic and inspiring connection with the Australian nature as we race through rivers and past waterfalls, venture into the local bush and finish on the breathtakingly beautiful Four Mile Beach in Port Douglas.

Camp on cattle stations, historic mining villages and a coffee plantation plus there are hotel accommodation packages too! The event is fully catered and supported by race mechanics and medical staff.

The event offers a multicultural experience that no other mountain bike event in Australia has!
