The Goorooyaroo Half Marathon is held on gently undulating dirt roads in Mulligan's Flat and Goorooyaroo reserves. The start and finish is at the Mulligan's Flat car park on Amy Ackman Street in Forde.
Entry is free to YCRC members, who just need to register on the day. If you are not a member, pre-race entries are available until midnight Thursday 26 September. Entries are also taken on the day. The cost is $5 for under 18s and $15 for adults. Runners must be at least 15 on race day.
Runners also have the option to turn after 7 km to do a 14 km race.
A 2x10.5 k relay option is also available, but participants need to organise their own transport to the changeover point off Horse Park Drive.
There will be a single water drink station at the half-way turn-point of the race.
