Murray River Run

Once again we are proud to have our run involved with the fund raising event JDRF “TrailRun4aCure” organised by Morgan Coull from MMI EVENTS and a team of awesome volunteers. “TrailRun4aCure” raises money to help fund research into finding a cure for Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. truely a worthy cause. You can find out more about MMI Events and their involvement in Community events here.

Race hard, or cruise, the shorter trails, the decision is yours. The trails through Kinchina Conservation Park, Lavender and Federation trails and the New Cyprus Hill trail will have you wishing you could keep going but we have a really supportive and excitable finish line crew and lots of spectators waiting for you. How much you challenge your self is up to you, but it is a great opportunity to find out what you’re really made of. Go on, be brave and test your limits. Use this event to explore the varieties of terrain, vegetation and views that this region is famous for, you won’t be disappointed.

The trails in Kinchina Conservation Park create an awesome course for beginners and juniors with lots of fun without the technical challenges of the longer courses. More adventurous runners looking for a little more challenge might opt to undertake the Enduro event, a longer distance with more technical sections to negotiate but this course should be achievable for beginners that are really up for a challenge. For the real adventurer, and most fun, the Ultra is your option; a long cross country course with lots of fun sections interspersed with some technical challenges.
