*The Shimano MTB GP’s are 'seriously fun' races where for podium chasers can line up with Australia’s elites and experienced amateur endurance racers plus casual racers will have a blast, all feeling safe and part of an inspiring community.

For this event we will have exclusive access to the Tyamolum Scout Park MTB Trails in Mt Crosby – a hidden little gem located 30 mins from the CBD are located near the Moggill Conservation Park. The network of raw trails located within Tyamolum Scout campsite is unknown to most! We selected these trails to host the next Shimano MTB GP in the South East Corner of Queensland, because they have become hugely popular recently.
We’d like to thank the local Kenmore Cycle Club to support the event to get us exclusive use of this amazing venue! Together with the committed working group, the BORRA-Brisbane Off Road Riders Alliance, the club has the vision for trails to be opened up for daily use under a user pay system in future – we can’t wait to showcase them with our event!
If you haven’t raced a Shimano MTB GP and you are about to have you’re first #rockytrailracer experience… it won’t be your last, we’re sure! - Race for four (GP4) or seven (GP7) hours solo, in relay pairs or teams of three. There are age-group and eBike categories. Expect less of a winners-only-focused competition, but a positive and inclusive experience for all racers.
With temporary COVID-19 event rules active, we have a participant limit in place - please check the event website for all the details. Competitors must sign up online. This event is tracking all participants and any non-racing spectator or supporter must register online for an event accreditation at no charge.
