This October long weekend conquer the Sparrow Hill and Kowen trails in the AMB100 Async Marathon! You can RACE the way you RIDE with Rocky Trail Entertainment in the Capital - it's Spring, it will be warm, the trails will be spectacular and it will feel so good to put that race plate on your bike, even if it all a bit different this year.
The event features a lap in a figure eight configuration consisting of the Sparrow loop and the Kowen loop, which is 42km in total and the "single lap" distance on offer. Competitors can compete this distance once, twice or three times as part of the marathon challenge.
This event will be organised under a strict Covid-19 Safety Plan and the organisers' new "async-style" race format means that riders need to pick one of the two race days and start time slots to spread out the field. Entries are limited and spectators are not allowed in the start area or out on track. The race track and timing is set up, so that the athletes can start and stop at the half-way point of the figure eight and in between laps to self-support.
