Jetblack Wild Wombat Rocky Trail Run | Mogo NSW

We invite you to the Mogo MTB Trails with the Shimano MTB GP 4 and 7 hour, which will be part of this year's Jetblack Wild Wombat MTB & Trail Running Challenges in the beautiful Eurobodalla Shire!

This is the perfect ‘Bikes, Bush and Beaches’ getaway for young, enthusiastic and experienced mountain bikers and trail runners in early summer! We invite you to the Mogo MTB Trails in Batemans Bay where you can ride and run “all kinds of natural” in the Jetblack Wild Wombat MTB & Trail Running Challenges!

Discover the beautiful Eurobodalla region – bring your partner and families and stay for the weekend in and around Batemans Bay, the holiday paradise on the South Coast with amazing experiences in the region for visitors while you race and to explore together off the race track!

On Sunday the tracks will be open for trail runners of all ages! Race your way! Run the 8-9km Deep Creek Dam loop 1x, 2x or 3x between 8am and 2pm! We have junior and a range of adult age groups. There are no start orders and we will set up the timing points so you can get a rest in between laps. This is the first, ever, Rocky Trail Running event – these trails are super fun, there’s not too much elevation and we need trail blazers, literally, to give us loads of feedback!

On the Saturday mountain bikers can race for 4 or 7 hours, solo or in relay teams.

It’s been a challenging year for everyone and we are most grateful that we can be out in nature, riding, running and racing. We are so pleased that we have been able to put everything into place to return to Mogo near Batemans Bay with this event this year especially – it’s a town and a region that has been hit particularly hard not just by the Covid-19 pandemic, but it’s a region that is still suffering from the aftermaths of last summer’s bush fires.

Covid-19 Safety: Competitors must sign up online and spectators, supporters and visitors are kindly asked to register via the free online portal to get an Event Access Pass.

From the first time between the tape to people that have spent a lifetime training for power output, we have you covered when you line up at the Rocky Trail start line!
